The Newburgh Illuminated Festival is a family-friendly festival. It raises awareness about Newburgh, a beautiful Hudson River City. The festival features great music/arts/food experiences each June.
Newburgh Illuminated Festival enters fifth year with a huge line up of musicians, artists, performing artists and food vendors.
On Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 hundreds of artists and musicians and vendors will assemble in Newburgh’s historic district, on lower Broadway.
Thousands of visitors looking for a fun day out will make their way to the festival, which is free and family friendly.
Here are a couple of FAQ’s from the Festival’s Eventbrite page:
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The event is a street festival located in the City of Newburgh. Parking is available outside the festival area where streets will be closed. Taxi service is available around the city limits for a flat rate. Taxi service is frequently available from the Beacon, NY MTA North Train Station to the City of Newburgh.
What can I bring into the event?
The event is not closed off to the public and is operated as a street festival, but we encourage all attendees to support our vendors that make this event possible.
Lots of transportation options are listed here. And, you can visit their website page for lots more info on bands, artists, and the multi stage set up they have arranged for performances. Vendors are listed, too!
If the weather cooperates as it has in the past, it makes for a fun, sunny day on the banks of the Hudson in one of the country’s most historic cities.
