Shop Small Business Saturday in Downtown Newburgh
Small Business Saturday is now an American shopping holiday held during the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the US, one of the historically busiest shopping times of the year.
This particular Saturday is always the last one in November, so it falls between November 24 and November 30.
The idea behind Small Business Saturday is to encourage shoppers to visit local brick and mortar stores. Small Business Saturday is a registered trademark of American Express.
Come to Downtown Newburgh!
The three organizers of Shop Small Saturday in Downtown Newburgh, Cher Vick, Jacqui Jarmann, and Angela Paul Gaito have organized an incredibly fun day that also includes a shopping passport that makes participants eligible to win prizes, and the prizes are lovely.
Shoppers are invited to join in a shopping crawl in the downtown region of Newburgh.
Shop amongst historic landmarks and world-class architectural jewels!
There are many small, unique shops and restaurants to discover, and the trio encourages visitors to spend the day strolling between shops and restaurants all while enjoying the architectural beauty, historical landmarks, and amazing Hudson River location the city has to offer.
The shops will be offering one-of-a-kind gifts for shoppers and will offer sales, specials, and a chance to win various raffle prizes!
Downtown Newburgh is seeing an increase in new businesses. This year the women have lined up 38 businesses to participate in Shop Small Saturday, with eight being opened this year alone!
